I am a Patriots fan living in the middle of Green Bay Packers country. My passion runs deep for the New England Patriots with so many amazing memories.
Probably one of my favorite memories, is the first time I was able to attend a game in person at Gillette Stadium. My husband and I had great seats on the first level near mid-field. The Patriots faced the Texans for a Monday night showdown on an unseasonably mild December night. The Texans came in to Foxboro playing so well and the game promised to be a nail biter. It did not turn out that way – it was a 42-14 blowout where Tom Brady threw 4 touchdown passes.
The stadium felt like home, the crowd felt like family and the blowout seemed to make it so much fun. For me, this was one of the best days as my first experience watching my favorite team in person, with my favorite person (my husband), in one of my favorite places.
